Giving and Donations
At Christ Church Knoxville we are thankful for our members and partners for their faithful support year after year. We cannot do what we do without the prayers, service, relationships and financial support that you provide. While we need resources in order make weekly meetings, groups and ministries happen, our chief goal in all that we do is to love and glorify God with our whole hearts, minds, bodies and souls and extend the love of Christ to our neighbors. More than finances we desire for lives to be changed for the glory of God. More than just giving we desire our members to give from a heart that Paul describes in 2 Corinthians 9:7-8: “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”
We are excited here at CCK to now offer digital giving through our website. We know it can be easy to forget your checkbook or not have cash on hand on Sunday mornings when you want to faithfully give. Our new system (provided by RebelGive) is an easy and straightforward way to give on your computer or smartphone. Just click the green icon in the bottom right corner to get started.
With our new platform you can:
Schedule a one time gift or set up a recurring gift
Create an account to keep track of all your online/digital giving
Receive a detailed report for tax purposes at the end of the year
Note: This new system from RebelGive allows for the least amount of vendor fees and more money going to the mission of the church. In order to do this our new giving platform asks you, as the giver, to cover the percentage cost to process the transaction. This way your full, intended donation makes it to the church without losing out to different fees. If you have any questions about this please let us know, as we always want to walk in transparency with our finances as a church.
While we are thankful for conveniences like this, we do see tithes and giving as very much part of our worship on Sunday mornings. Even if you setup a normally recurring gift, we always encourage you to pray each Sunday during the offering time, both thanking God for His faithful provision and asking that He would use that support to expand His Kingdom.
Please contact us if you have any questions or issues!
